Just another reason why changing my last name to Olson on bookface was the best decision of my life....

Below is an email chain I had with a representative from a material company today at work. I met them last week when they came to our office to give us a presentation on their product. Let me just say, I was a little sketched out, and I'm glad that my bookface is set super private.

(names have been changes to protect the innocent)

Email #1 (SketchRep -> Amo): "Do you know a girl named L.H.?" (no kmo not the LH we knew in HS)

Email #2 (Amo  -> SketchRep): "I don't think I know L.H. Is there a particular reason you ask?" (looking back, i should have ended it on, i don't know her. why the one time in my life that i ask someone a question that kmo and m1 would want to know, do i get stuck in the most awkward/creepy email chain? FML)

Email #3 (SketchRep -> Amo): "I have been obsessed with facebook recently (just recently? way to jump on the bandwagon late moron) .... looked u up last week after we met (normal). Hope you don't mind (i do, but you cfl). I do it with pretty much everyone I talk to during the day (creepy?). There was an AMO (i wish he had really written AMO, but sadly he used my real name) w/o a pic who was connected to a close friend of mine, LH. Obviously, it wasn't you.

Email #4 (Amo -> SketchRep): "no worries. :) (emoticon was to try to cover up that i was scared)  however, you are right, that's not me. i have my page set to private on fb, because I use it for personal relationships only (TEAM OLSON ONLY) . i do however have a linkedin profile that i use professionally (meaning, i don't use it at all)"

Email #5 (SketchRep -> Amo): "I have never used linkedin (obvi). I guess b/c my life is my family business (and stalking people you met for 20 minutes)... i don't think twice about adding clients on facebook (i think you mean bookface). However, I understand why you would not want mix their personal life and professional. (doesn't everyone?)"

Team Olson saves me again.

Xoxo, volleyball blog coming up next,

Amo
